Saw-cut Veneers
We produce these in house on a bandsaw using hi-tech special steel blades which cut accurately and smoothly. There will still be saw marks to clean up afterwards but these are shallow and easily removed with a cabinet scraper.
This is the only way to buy black ebony as veneer, many other timbers can be cut to order but will not always be available off the shelf.
We produce a lot of guitar parts using the same technology and can always offer overruns, odds or offcut material handy for small work or antique restoration at about 3.5mm.
The downside is that we cannot offer to cut much above 200mm width or 1500mm long. Ebony sizes will be considerably less than this anyway due to the limited size availability of the lumber.

Dyed Veneers
Standard thickness 0.6mm dyed veneers in Yellow, Red, Green, Blue Green, Blue, Dark Blue and Black, all 1 meter long, widths 100 – 200mm.
